It was back in 2014 that the movie PK was released into the theatres and was declared a box office hit in no time. Featuring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles, the Hindi drama received a humongous response from the audience. But what further excited the viewers was its climax scene which witnessed a cameo appearance by none other than Ranbir Kapoor himself. This led to speculations about the making of a possible sequel of the movie.

Well, these speculations might as well turn right as Vidhu Vinod Chopra who produced the movie has confirmed the same. While talking to a tabloid, the filmmaker said that they will make a sequel. He further added about how they had shown Ranbir Kapoor’s character at the end of the movie and said that there is a story to tell about it. However, Chopra also stated that writer Abhijat Joshi has not penned the script yet and that it will happen once he writes the same.

Talking about PK, it was directed by Rajkumar Hirani and also featured late Sushant Singh Rajput in a pivotal role. Earlier in another interview, Hirani had talked about how people were unhappy with the script as Aamir Khan had to leave the planet. He then added it was after that the makers decided to show PK’s return to earth with another native from his planet. Ranbir Kapoor played the role of this particular native in the same.
